Accounts Receivable Specialist

CyberArk Software is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist who will take full ownership of the A/R & Collection process for a fast growing public company. The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for communicating with customers on a daily basis to ensure that the Company receives payment for goods and services and that all transactions are properly recorded.

Responsibilities

  • Collect on accounts by sending bill reminders and communication with customers via phone and email
  • Prepare cash and check payments for bank deposit
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are properly recorded
  • Run a weekly aging report to identify past due accounts that require collection activities
  • Interact with customers, sales representatives and billing specialists to resolve outstanding issues and disputes raised by customers
  • Conduct account research and analysis
  • Prepare and maintain various reports

Qualifications

  • At least two years prior business to business collections experience or related AR
  • Proficient with accounting software and MS Office
  • Experience with MS Excel required (Pivot Tables, Vlookups, Formulas)
  • Strong written and verbal communication a must
  • Ability to recognize and resolve discrepancies
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Experience working in a customer facing role
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles is a plus
