Billing Specialist

CyberArk is looking for a detail-oriented Billing Specialist who will take ownership of the full billing process at our fast growing, public company.

Job functions:

  • Responsible for processing customer Purchase Orders
  • Manage the database of sales records
  • Manage the full billing process in accordance with company policies and procedures including processing ERP records.
  • Responsible for clear, detailed communication with the Sales & Professional Services Teams and with customers regarding various software delivery and billing related issues.
  • May also include researching and resolving revenue recognition issues.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Verify accuracy of billing data and revise errors
  • Operate software system for billing
  • Obtain and/or enter such documents as authorizations, financial Agreements, and other legal documents as necessary
  • Maintain detailed records as required
  • Resolve discrepancies in accounting records
  • Interact with staff, customers, to answer questions, obtain information, and resolve issues

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in business management, economics or finance/accounting is an advantage
  • 2-3 years of experience in a billing role
  • Knowledge of Revenue Recognition standards in accordance with US GAAP is an advantage
  • Able to work independently but in a team setting
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Ability to recognize individual and system problems and to communicate discrepancies to the VP Finance
  • Outstanding attention to detail and excellent time management skills
