Senior ALM – DevOps Engineer

CyberArk’s R&D department comprises 200+ people and keeps growing.
The core activity of this department is developing the best quality products for our customers as defined by the Product Managers.

Your core responsibility will be to continuously maintain our TFS infrastructure, supporting a continuous integration and deployment model by automating software build and package processes.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage the enterprise architecture of Microsoft Team Foundation Server
  • Create and implement source control branching strategies
  • Create and maintain build, packaging and deployment scripts
  • Support our continuous integration build environment
  • Design, document, implement, and maintain scripts to enhance current build/release processes
  • Incorporate new development projects into existing build structures
  • Install and/or upgrade new software tools when needed and help administrate common engineering resources
  • Continually evaluate tools and technologies to improve the overall release process
  • Be exposed to a truly AGILE environment
  • Report to R&D team manager

Job Requirements

  • Extensive experience with source control systems (TFS) and experience in managing the configuration and security of TFS projects (TFS 2013/2015 preferred)
  • Customizing permissions, check-in policies, team Portal, areas and iterations, work items, branching, builds, reports, process guidance and documentation
  • Excellent design and analytical skills
  • Thorough and methodical approach to any task
  • Strong ability to use new technologies and understand them in depth through rapid self-learning
  • Proactive by nature; internal drive for excellence and improvement
  • Original thinker, creative
  • Full time position
  • Fluent in English, good writing skills
  • Great interpersonal relations, team player

Knowledge in one or more of the following areas – an advantage:

  • Programming knowledge in C# or Java.
  • Knowledge in code analysis tools, such as Sonar.
  • Experience using Continuous Integration tools, such as Jenkins, TeamCity, and Maven.
  • Experience using Configuration Management/Scripting tools, such as Chef, Puppet, and Python.
  • Knowledge of source control management, such as GIT.
  • WEB (JavaScript, ASP.NET, REST, WCF and more)
  • Security principles and techniques (encryption, authentication protocols)
  • Experience with a wide range of platforms (Solaris, AIX, Linux, OS/390)
