Senior Extensions Developer

The primary function of a Senior Extensions Developer is to analyze, design and develop new features for the CyberArk suite of products. In addition, this position will focus on expanding the capabilities of CyberArk products to integrate with multiple ranges of platforms, operating systems and applications. The Senior Extensions Developer will take part in feature development from the requirement definition stage, through technical research and design to development and the final deliverable. This person will produce quality code that meets the high security, stability and performance standards of the largest enterprises in the world.

Job requirements:

  • Strong ability to investigate new technological areas (platforms, devices, applications and so) and understand them in depth through rapid self-learning
  • 2 years of experience in C++ or Java or C#
  • Scripting experience
  • Knowledge (can be basic or advanced) in wide range of technologies like:
    • Windows
    • LDAP and Directories
    • Databases
    • Unix
    • AS400 and MF
    • SAP
    • WMI
    • Expect
    • Routers and network devices
    • Web
    • VMWare and virtualization
    • Others
  • Basic understanding of multithreading, synchronizations, threads, etc.
  • Basic understanding of security principles (encryption, authentication protocols, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate with customers
  • High degree of independence and commitment to high quality deliverables
  • Team player

Knowledge in one or more of the following areas – An advantage:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft RDS (Remote Desktop Services) at system level – Configuring, licensing, encryption, maintaining sessions etc Knowledge of Win2008 R2 internals
  • Practical experience in proxy solutions development
  • Design patterns
  • Security principles and techniques (encryption, authentication protocols)
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol (analyze network traffic, use of network sniffers)
