CyberArk Addresses Rise of Kerberos Attacks and Privileged Account Security at Black Hat USA 2015

The cyber security sessions will focus on the power of exploited privileged accounts, the rise of Kerberos attacks, and how to secure privileged credentials to protect the heart of the enterprise.

 What: Passwords15: “Privileges in the Real World: Securing Password Management” – This session will feature insights from a recently-conducted study on the exposure of networks to credential theft attacks and privileged accounts exploitation, and discuss mitigation techniques including the role of automation in effective privileged password management.

Black Hat 2015: “The Privileged Aspect of Kerberos Attacks” – It is known that privileged account exploitation is at the heart of targeted cyber attacks. Combining privileged accounts with attacks on the Kerberos authentication in Windows domains raises the cyber threat. This session will present research into the exposure of real-world networks to credential theft and Kerberos attacks, and discuss best practices to lower this exposure and risk.
