Las Vegas – McAfee Focus 2013 – September 30, 2013 – CyberArk, the company securing the heart of the enterprise, today announced that Adam Bosnian, Executive Vice President Americas, will host a breakout session focused on privileged-based security breaches during McAfee FOCUS 13 in Las Vegas. FOCUS 13, taking place October 1-3, 2013, will focus on innovative ways to ward off advanced cyber attacks by staying ahead of the latest, most creative threats. In his session, Bosnian will walk participants through recent high profile attacks to demonstrate how attackers target privileged accounts to gain broad access to enterprise systems.

Who:  Adam Bosnian, Executive Vice President Americas, CyberArk

What: “The Privileged Pathway – Avoid an APT by Locking Down the Road Most Traveled”

According to a recent report from CyberSheath, the compromise of privileged accounts was a crucial factor in 100 percent of Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs). In this session, Adam Bosnian will deconstruct recent attacks to demonstrate the commonly traveled “privileged pathway.” Attendees will walk away with:

  • Understanding of how privileged accounts can be identified, isolated and monitored to mitigate insider and advanced attacks
  • Insight into how integrations with CyberArk and McAfee provide enhanced information security and continuous monitoring of privileged access
  • A strategy for compliance with complex audit and regulatory requirements
