September 2, 2010

NEWTON, Mass. – September 2, 2010 – Cyber-Ark® Software, Cyber-Ark to Bundle and Sell Its Privileged Identity Management Suite with High Performance Server Platforms Privileged Identity Management Suite with Dell’s PowerEdge R410 and R610 rack servers, offering small and medium sized businesses a single source appliance for managing privileged identities and passwords on a data center-ready platform.

“Privileged and administrative accounts in the data center present one of the biggest IT security challenges facing organizations around the world. These accounts provide wide ranging access to critical information and need to be monitored as part of a strong security infrastructure,” said Richard Weeks, vice president global business development, Cyber-Ark. “The OEM agreement with Dell is a perfect fit for Cyber-Ark and our customers, combining Dell’s high-quality servers with Enterprise Password Vault to provide a single source appliance to enforce enterprise security.”

Cyber-Ark’s Enterprise Password Vault® (EPV), part of the company’s Privileged Identity Management Suite, enables organizations to secure, manage, automate and log all activities associated with privileged accounts. In most organizations, policies are used to define and enforce access workflows to privileged accounts, including central change management or emergency access based on ticketing system integrations. EPV workflow management allows easy integration with existing processes and creates greater flexibility and agility to address current and future workflow questions, as well as different requirements from organizational units. Additionally, users can better control privileged access down to specific time frames if necessary, resulting in greater security benefits and increased productivity for the IT staff.
