Richard Bejtlich, Mandiant’s Chief Security Officer, to Deliver Keynote Address at the World’s Largest Gathering of Privileged Account Security Professionals

Boston, MA – October 25, 2013 – CyberArk, the company securing the heart of the enterprise, today announced details of the CyberArk 2013 North American Customer Event, taking place October 28-30, 2013 at the Westin Boston Waterfront. The three-day conference will detail how privileged accounts continue to be exploited in advanced cyber attacks and security breaches, while explaining how CyberArk delivers targeted security solutions that help customers proactively protect against these targeted attacks and insider threats. The event will also showcase the newly released version 8.0 of CyberArk’s privileged account security solution, which includes Master Policy, a new policy engine enabling customers to set, manage and monitor privileged account security policies through a unified, simple and natural-language interface.

In addition to CyberArk customer case studies, panels, technical presentations and workshops, the event will feature a keynote address from Richard Bejtlich, the Chief Security Officer of Mandiant. Bejtlich’s presentation will discuss how cyber attackers have stolen and abused privileged credentials to perpetrate some of the biggest breaches in recent memory, while addressing how defenders can counter these vulnerabilities. Udi Mokady, CyberArk’s founder, president and CEO, will also present at the customer event, explaining how CyberArk’s innovative technology solutions continue to meet the current and constantly evolving security and compliance needs of global customers.

“Over the past year, as our customers increasingly recognized the connection between privileged accounts and advanced attacks, they continued to deploy CyberArk’s solutions to prevent perimeter breaches from escalating into full blown leaks of sensitive information,” said Udi Mokady. “We are extremely excited for the largest gathering of privileged account security professionals in our company’s history—and to continue sharing our innovative cyber security solutions and strategies with these valued customers.”
