DevOps Engineer

CyberArk’s R&D department comprises 200+ people and keeps growing.
The core activity of this department is developing the best quality products for our customers as defined by the Product Managers.

Your core responsibility will be to continuously maintain our TFS infrastructure, supporting a continuous integration and deployment model by automating software build and package processes.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage the enterprise architecture of Microsoft Team Foundation Server
  • Design and manage DevOps Configuration Management & Continuous Integration/Deployment Services (build, packaging and deployment)
  • Design, document, implement, and maintain scripts to enhance current build/release processes
  • Incorporate new development projects into existing build structures
  • Continually evaluate tools and technologies to improve the overall release process
  • Work closely with R&D and IT/operations departments
  • Report to R&D team manager

Job Requirements

  • Experience with source control systems and experience in configuration management (TFS or Jenkins, Git, Jira, etc)
  • Excellent script skills (Bash, PowerShell or Python)
  • Strong hands-on technical abilities
  • Database usage experience and understanding (preferred – MSSQL, knowledge in SSRS is a big advantage)
  • Excellent design and analytical skills
  • Thorough and methodical approach to any task
  • Strong ability to use new technologies and understand them in depth through rapid self-learning
  • Proactive by nature; internal drive for excellence and improvement
  • Original thinker, creative
  • Full time position
  • Fluent in English, good writing skills
  • Great interpersonal relations, team player

Knowledge in one or more of the following areas – an advantage:

  • Experience with TFS – a significant advantage
  • Programming knowledge in C# or Java
  • Familiarity with Artifactory, Nuget and NPM Packaging
  • Familiarity in code analysis tools, such as Sonar
  • Experience using Configuration Management tools, such as Chef, Puppet
  • WEB (JavaScript, ASP.NET, REST, WCF and more)
  • Security principles and techniques (encryption, authentication protocols)
  • Administration experience with Linux/Unix platforms (Solaris, AIX, RH)
