Director, Demand Generation Marketing

We are seeking a senior business and marketing leader to lead the global demand center at CyberArk.

This position requires a blend of strategy, demand generation, creative, analytic and project management expertise with a proven ability to manage a team to drive demand and a commitment to increasing “lead to opportunity” volume, velocity and quality. A collaborative and congenial approach is a key success factor in this role, which has organizational interlocks with corporate and field marketing, campaigns, digital, marketing operations, sales and senior executives.

•Lead the development of a world-class demand-generation and marketing automation program team to support a high growth B2B sales and marketing model in one of the most exciting high tech sectors – cybersecurity – and at one of the most exciting companies — CyberArk.
•Develop and execute multi-faceted, multi-touch, integrated campaigns that include communications/awareness, thought leadership, digital and demand generation programs. Scope program requirements, budgets, resource needs and delivery timeframes and oversee execution – liaising with marketing leadership and global campaigns and working with multiple teams: digital, corporate communications, regional teams, etc.
•Thoughtfully design each marketing program with clear target segments, buyer process stage, and calls to action.
•Work with internal stakeholders to drive the production of engaging content to feed nurture and lead generation programs.
•Manage marketing operations platform and services for the global marketing team, including support for marketing database strategy and data requests (e.g.: lead imports, scoring, nurture, lead management, campaign and funnel tracking, targeting and segmentation plans)
•Optimize and standardize demand creation approaches across the organization and assume responsibility for highly repeatable demand-related tasks used by all geographies (e.g.: segmentation, list pulls, lead nurturing, pipeline acceleration, translation.)
•Create a model to track program success and drive continuous improvement
•Collaborate and work in concert with regional/field marketing teams to develop and implement campaigns to generate new leads and move existing pipeline
•Work closely with Sales and Field Marketing to monitor and drive timely and effective lead follow-up to ensure high rates of conversion to opportunities.
•Ensure alignment with Sales Ops on lead flow, lead quality and data integrity and reporting on marketing program effectiveness in terms of lead and pipeline generation.

Skills and Experience:
•10 or more years of experience developing and executing strategic lead generation and nurture programs in a B2B environment, preferably in a B2B software context. Experience building or working within an enterprise-wide demand creation center of excellence is a big plus.
•Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a growing team
•Prior experience in multi-touch, integrated marketing program design, creation and implementation – including use of inbound digital marketing tactics.
•3+ years of marketing automation platform experience (Marketo or Eloqua) and Salesforce experience
•Working experience with a B2B organization’s demand waterfall reporting model (e.g.: lead scoring, service-level agreements, lead sourced/influenced ratios)
•Previous project management at either a marketing agency or within an internal shared service function
•Ability to collaborate and communicate to multiple complex stakeholder groups at a local, regional and international scale, including influencing and engaging direct and indirect reports and peers.
•Previous experience selecting or overseeing creative and demand creation agencies
•Independent, self-starter
•Proven ability to effect and manage change
•The position requires strong evidenced strategic and analytical thinking, as well as excellent project management skills (objective-driven planning and reporting), budget management, strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree/MBA preferred.
