CANCOM is a one-stop shop for corporate IT services in Germany and Austria. The company designs and integrates IT systems as well as distributes hardware and software from manufacturers such as Adobe, Apple, Citrix, HP, IBM, Microsoft, and VMware. As a managed services provider, CANCOM also offers personnel services, handles support and repairs on site, and acts as a consultant for other projects. It added cloud computing services to the mix with the 2010 purchase of Plaut’s SAP Hosting and IT Services business. CANCOM was founded in 1992 by CEO Klaus Weinmann.
