CyberArk’s Annual Customer Event to Feature Keynote by The 451 Group’s Research Director and Security Strategist Joshua Corman

October 28, 2009 – the leading global software provider for protecting critical applications, identities and information, today announced details of its annual customer event that is taking place October 28-29, 2009 in Boston. Joshua Corman, newly appointed research director at independent analyst firm The 451 Group, is presenting the keynote address that will focus on managing privileged identities in the cloud. Event attendees will benefit from a sneak peek at Cyber-Ark’s product roadmap, including a preview of the much anticipated Privileged Identity Management Suite v6.

Keynote presenter Corman currently heads The 451 Group’s Enterprise Security Program, a research service devoted to IT enterprise security. Formerly serving as principal security strategist for IBM Security Systems, Corman led strategy for emerging technologies such as secure virtualization and secure cloud computing. He is a reputable industry leader who is devoted to inspiring new leadership and fresh approaches to solving current and emerging security threats.

Cyber-Ark’s two-day event begins with a series of general sessions addressing topics such as “What’s Next for Privileged Account and Session Management” and “The Future of Governed File Transfer.” Attendees will learn more about recently-released versions of Cyber-Ark’s Privileged Identity Management and Governed File Transfer Suites, and how the solutions can effectively protect against vulnerabilities associated with privileged accounts and transferring highly-sensitive information.
