CyberArk Adds Privileged Identity Management and Cloud Computing Expertise to European Identity Conference Panels

Newton, Mass. – May 3, 2010 – Cyber-Ark® Software, the leading global software provider for protecting critical applications, identities and information, today announced participation in three panels at the Kuppinger Cole European Identity Conference 2010. The event takes place May 4-7, 2010 in Munich, Germany. This annual conference draws global enterprise IT leaders to debate trends and best practices for identity management, governance risk and compliance (GRC), and cloud computing. Cyber-Ark will participate on panels focused on managing privileged identities and data portability in the cloud.

Panel I: Managing Privileged Identities in the Cloud
Who: Shlomi Dinoor, vice president emerging technologies, Cyber-Ark Labs
What: This panel, “Managing Privileged Identities in the Cloud,” will examine one of the major risks identified for cloud computing, the potential for abuse by malicious insiders within the cloud service provider. With so many privileged accounts covering hypervisors, operating systems, databases and applications, panelists from Cyber-Ark, CA, Lieberman Software and Oracle will discuss how an organization should manage the privileged user risk.

Panel II: Privileged Identities – Identify, Delegate, Enforce, Audit
Who: Jochen Koehler, director of sales d/a/ch region, Cyber-Ark Software
What: This panel, “Privileged Identities – Identify, Delegate, Enforce, Audit,” will examine high-profile data breaches and emphasize the need to maintain and safeguard privileged accounts. Panelists will discuss four key processes that can help organizations regain control of privileged accounts in a cost-effective manner: Identifying, delegating, enforcing and auditing (I.D.E.A.), which can improve security and operational efficiency, take control of privileged accounts and close security gaps within the infrastructure.

Panel III: Business/Cloud Portability
Who: Shlomi Dinoor, vice president emerging technologies, Cyber-Ark Labs
What: This panel in the Cloud Platform and Data Portability track will be moderated by Dave Kearns, identity expert and writer for Network World magazine. Participants from Axiomatics Americas, Cyber-Ark, Layer 7 Technologies, Novell and Ping Identity will examine topics associated with data/identities in the cloud and security implications related to portability of data.
