CyberArk’s Annual European Customer Conference Takes on the Challenges of Managing Privileged Identities in the Cloud

NEWTON, Mass. – June 21, 2010 – Cyber-Ark® Software, the leading global software provider for protecting critical applications, identities and information, today announced highlights from its Second Annual European Customer and Partner Conference that took place June 2-3, 2010 in Dublin, Ireland. The event featured a keynote presentation by Gartner, Inc. Research Vice President Ant Allan. Additionally, dedicated privileged identity management and governed file transfer sessions empowered users to maximize the security, compliance and business sustainability benefits of Cyber-Ark’s solutions across the extended enterprise, including cloud-based and virtualized data center environments.

The conference kicked-off with presentations dedicated to exploring the expanding definition of privilege including the importance of taking a holistic approach to managing privileged accounts, users and sessions. Presenters explored the future of privileged account and session management in extended, virtualized environments and the importance of having an enterprise-class, unified, policy-based solution that provides advanced monitoring and reporting tools for managing superusers and privileged accounts in order to eliminate insider threats, improve compliance, and increase productivity and efficiency.
