NEWTON, Mass. — November 18, 2010 — Cyber-Ark® Software, the leading global software provider for protecting critical applications, identities and information, today announced that the Cyber-Ark Privileged Identity Management Suite has won “Enterprise Security Solution of the Year” at the Computing Security Awards 2010.
Launched this year, the Computing Security Awards honor the products and services that have made a positive contribution to making organizations more secure. In a departure from the ‘norm, these awards are not voted for by a typical judging panel. Indeed, these are the only UK awards to recognize excellence in IT security where the winners are determined solely through the democratic process of on-line nominating and voting by the readers of ‘Network Computing’ and ‘Computing Security’ magazines.
The Cyber-Ark Privileged Identity Management Suite was selected above seven other shortlisted vendors, including Absolute Software, CA and Webroot, to take the “Enterprise Security Solution of the Year” accolade. Enterprise-class, and unified policy-based, the Cyber-Ark Privileged Identity Management Suite secures, manages and monitors all privileged accounts and activities associated with data centre management whether on-premise or in the cloud. Cyber-Ark recently announced the addition of the new On-Demand Privileges Manager™ product as part of the integrated Cyber-Ark Suite, providing organizations the most advanced solution for uniformly managing security policies, compliance, reporting and administration for all privileged users and accounts from a common user interface.
“It is a huge privilege for Cyber-Ark to receive this award and be recognized for our commitment to providing the best security solutions to global enterprises,” said Udi Mokady, President and CEO at Cyber-Ark. “Judged by the readers of two of the leading security magazines, we are delighted that our product has been commended by our customers and partners in the sector.”
