We are focused on operating responsibly and strengthening our environmental program in order for CyberArk to move Fearlessly Forward, sustainably. In 2022 we measured our emissions for the first time, conducted internal training sessions on climate-related strategy, and conducted an initial scenario analysis. In 2023 we received third-party verification of our 2022 Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions.

Engaging employees on key initiatives can be a key to long-term success. Green Spirit Challenge encourages employee behavior and local Green teams plan and help carry out initiatives.

Additional actions we are taking include; data center planning to reduce our footprint, implementing a CyberArk forest program and achieving green bureau certification of our programs.

The Green Business Bureau helps businesses worldwide validate and improve their sustainability efforts. In the US, CyberArk is a Platinum Level Member, celebrated for its employee engagement that drives environmental sustainability.
CyberArk forest
Aiming to balance our environmental impact, CyberArk is planting a tree for each new employee and enables our employees to plant trees as part of its employee recognition program.
Climate change
To better understand and assess the climate-related risks and opportunities facing our business and to help establish a climate strategy, we conducted two corporate-level climate strategy sessions for senior leaders in 2022. The analysis found that overall, climate-related risks pose a low risk to CyberArk’s business and operations in the near-to medium-term and that we are well positioned to align and adapt to the transition to a lower carbon global economy. However, we will continue to monitor these developments and integrate considerations into business planning where necessary.

*CyberArk has calculated our Scope 1 and 2 emissions inventory in line with GHG Protocol. Both location-based and market-based Scope 2 emissions are calculated (with market-based Scope 1 and 2 reported in our ESG Report). CyberArk uses the operational control approach to determine the boundary of our Scope 1 and 2 inventory. CyberArk’s Scope 1 and 2 inventory is calculated using a combination of primary data and secondary data (estimations).
