Where Security Accountability Stops and Starts in the Public Cloud

The CyberArk Global Advanced Threat Landscape 2019 report found that nearly half of the 1,000 global organizations we studied are deploying SaaS-based business critical applications and similar proportions use the public cloud to serve regulated customer data.

The findings show that a large majority entrust the security of their cloud workloads completely to the cloud vendor and that the shared security responsibility model pushed by all major cloud vendors is either not understood or is being ignored by many client organizations.
